About Me

A little more about Jessie Jumbles.
I created Jessie Jumbles in Summer 2011 once my son started to sleep through the night. I am a full time stay at home mummy so all of my button creations are made at night when he's in bed.
I started by covering buttons in the vintage fabrics I love. I try to use remnants that I find in charity shops, car boot sales and donations but sometimes a new fabric catches my eye and I have to have it. I am drawn to vintage and retro themed prints but also bright children's fabrics.

The first things I made were hairclips and once these were a success at local craft fairs I've continued to expand the range.

I also incorporate my love of vintage china into Jessie Jumbles. I collect British china from the thirties and forties mainly but often come across other beautiful pieces. I sell these at various vintage fairs but put a small selection online. My stalls also sell vintage annuals, kitsch glasses, ladybird books and any other trinket that take my fancy.

I will keep the website updated with my current stockist and fairs so you can come and meet me and see the clips in person if you're in the area.

If you'd like to know anything else I've included some interviews I've done in the Links section or feel free to message me.
